This exceptionally fine, full-bodied varietal is produced from
the same grape which produces the great Boreaux wines of Medoc.
Because Cabernet Sauvignon is fairly tannic, the wine is often blended
with other grapes; usually Merlot.
The wine is usually described as having
aromas and flavors of black currants and cassis.
